Cujo (a Large white Akita) loves to come to get groomed by Mari. My dog Cujo had to be tranquilized and muzzled when he went to other groomers . . . but not with Mari! I would recommend Mari to anyone who loves their pet as much as I love mine. She loves her work, does a beautiful job and cares about her customers and their pets. At the end of last winter the groomer I used for over 10 years told me that she was going to retire and to say the least I was lost. Then luckily someone gave me Mari’s name and number. Murphy my golden Retriever needed to be groomed and being my longest haired dog I knew he would be the one to test and choose the new groomer for my dog family, (Kirby my German Shepherd and Bogart my yellow Lab). I made an appointment and was a bit nervous. That nervousness lasted less than 30 seconds because I walked into the brightest, cleanest, warmest grooming room ever and then Murphy met Mari and it was love at first sight. He was so very happy and I know that my dogs know good from bad when it comes to people and places. My brother and I spoke with Mari and let her know what we wanted for Murphy and walked out feeling very secure. Coming back to pick up Murphy was the best. He not only looked so very handsome, but he was so very happy and really didn't want to leave. He told me everything I needed to know about my boy's new groomer. I immediately made appointments for my other two boys and of course the next appointment for Murphy. Now my appointments are made a year in advance and we are all thrilled with Mari & Henry.

Our dog Lazzie Bear (a large Newfoundland) is a special dog with special needs. He was born without hip sockets & therefore has a very severe case of hip displasia. It is difficult for him to stand for any length of time, so a bath can be very stressful and sometimes painful for him. I am very grateful to have found Mari & Henry. They take time with Lazzie. He is so much less stressed and now looks forward to his grooming. He seems to love Mari & Henry. The previous groomer apparently did not treat Lazzie well and twice he had seizures when going there which the Veterinarian said was stress related. He prescribed Phenobarbital for him to take before grooming, but since we been going to Mari's, Lazzie no longer needs meds and no longer has seizures. Their love of dogs is apparent and we are very pleased with their loving kindness and care to our dog.
